Die rote Zora von Kurt Held ist ein Welterfolg, in zahlreiche Sprachen übersetzt, verfilmt, als Hörspiel und für die Bühne bearbeitet.

Weil sich die Erwachsenen nicht um sie kümmern, schliessen sich die rote Zora und ihre Bande zusammen und machen ihre eigenen Regeln. Sie stehlen, um zu überleben. Sie erleben Gemeinschaft und Zusammenhalt, weil es ihnen die Erwachsenen versagen, aber auch Freiheit, Liebe und Abenteuer.
Eine aufrüttelnde Geschichte über gesellschaftliche Teilhabe, über Armut und Ausschluss und über die Möglichkeiten der menschlichen Kooperation. Ein rasantes und berührendes Abenteuer, das uns alle angeht.
