Summer Dance ist Cie tanz raums jährliche Tanzwoche, welche für alle Menschen offen ist. Dieses Jahr findet die Tanzwoche von 31. Juli bis 5. August im Phönix Theater statt. Gemeinsam mit den Künstler:innen Claudia Heinle, Caroline Chevat, Amir Ezzat und Mourad Adli erarbeiten die Teilnehmenden in sechs Tagen eine Performance, die am letzten Tag aufgeführt wird.

Die Performance spielt in der im Phönix Theater aufgebauten Installation. Sie ist von der Totenwelt der alten Ägypter:innen inspiriert. Es geht um den Zusammenhang von Tanz und Tod und der transformierenden Kraft, die damit in Verbindung gebracht wurde. Die für das Projekt aus Ägypten in die Schweiz gereisten Musiker, Amir Ezzat und Mourad Adli weben mit Caroline Chevat, den aus der ägyptischen Tradition schöpfenden Klangteppich. Die Teilnehmer:innen des Projekts teilen an diesem Abend das Ergebnis ihrer Arbeit.

Der Eintritt ist gratis, um Reservation wird gebeten: Kollekte willkommen.
